Mr. Hamme is the President-Elect of the American Health Lawyers Association and will serve as the organization’s President from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. He has long been active in the leadership of AHLA, serving as a Board Member and previously as Secretary, a member of the Executive Committee and chair of the Practice Groups Committee. Mr. Powers was the first Chief Counsel for the Health Care Financing Administration (now CMS) and a Founding Director and former President of the American Health Lawyers Association.
