Joel M. Hamme Elected President of American Health Lawyers Association

Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville, PC is pleased to announce that Joel Hamme has been selected as "President-Elect Designate" of the American Health Lawyers Association. This means that he will be the President-Elect Designate for AHLA's fiscal year 2007 (beginning July 1, 2006), President-Elect for AHLA's fiscal year 2008, and President for AHLA's fiscal year 2009. It is a great tribute to the hard work he has put into this bar over the last several years as a Director, and for many years before that as a speaker, author and Chair of the Association's program on long term care law. It also continues the long history of contributions that people in the Firm have made to the AHLA, starting with Galen Powers, who was a founding Director of the predecessor National Health Lawyers Association and one of its early Presidents.
