Judi Buckalew Selected as Consumer Reviewer on Interstitial Cystitis Panel

PPSV Principal Judith Buckalew was selected by the American Institute of Biological Sciences and the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program to serve as a Consumer Reviewer on the Interstitial Cystitis grant review panel for the FY 2010 cycle. The purpose of the peer review panel is to assess whether the applications are scientifically and programmatically in line with the Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program's mission. Consumer reviewers study and report on the possible impact of the proposed work as it relates to the potential for improved medical care and enhanced quality of life.
