Ronald S. Connelly

Associate

Ronald Connelly is an associate of the firm. His practice encompasses a variety of health care issues, including Medicare and Medicaid litigation and advising clients regarding federal and state health care regulations. Mr. Connelly’s experience includes graduate medical education, Medicare coverage determinations, disproportionate share hospital payments, and the Medicare wage index. Mr. Connelly also has experience in education law and real estate matters.

Before practicing law, Mr. Connelly was a financial analyst for academic medical centers. Mr. Connelly advised hospital management and clinicians regarding hospital profitability, cost accounting, budget variances, labor productivity, revenue projections, and payer and service mix trends. 

Mr. Connelly received his JD, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center. While at Georgetown, he was managing editor of the Georgetown Law Journal’s Annual Review of Criminal Procedure, and he served as executive director and director of trial advocacy for the Barristers’ Council, Georgetown’s honor society for interscholastic oral advocacy competitions. Mr. Connelly graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with Bachelor of Arts degrees in China Studies and History. He subsequently earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from the University of Washington.  Mr. Connelly is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia and Maryland.
