

Erika R. Janes is an associate of the firm and a member of the education practice group. Ms. Janes advises post secondary institutions on federal, state and accrediting agency regulatory matters, including areas relating to compliance, litigation and transactional issues. She represents public and private colleges, universities, and postsecondary institutions, and private and publicly traded educational companies in federal, state and accrediting agency regulatory issues.
Ms. Janes graduated cum laude from Harvard University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. She received her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in 2004. During law school, Ms. Janes was a member of The George Washington University Law Review. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
