

Johanna Michaels Kreisel is an associate of the firm. Her practice focuses on assisting healthcare organizations in complying with the federal Medicare and Medicaid programs, including issues related to reimbursement, fraud and abuse and legislative matters.
Ms. Kreisel graduated cum laude from Middlebury College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. At Middlebury, she received the CJ Neil Kvasnak Award for academic excellence in the study of American politics and wrote her honors thesis, "Challenges to Change: The Political Process of Innovative State Health Care Reform." Ms. Kreisel received her Juris Doctor, cum laude from the American University's Washington College of Law in 2008. While in law school, Ms. Kreisel was a staff member on the American University International Law Review and a Marshall Brennan Teaching Fellow.
Prior to law school, Ms. Kreisel was the Health Care Legislative Assistant in the office of Senator John F. Kerry (D-MA).
Ms. Kreisel also serves as an adjunct member of the American University, Washington College of Law faculty.
