

Autumn François joined Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville PC as an associate in 2010. A member of PPSV’s education practice group, she represents institutions of higher learning in audit and program review proceedings before the US Department of Education and in transactions regulated by the Department. Ms. François also advises educational institutions regarding compliance with state and federal standards and accreditation. She also monitors legislative, regulatory, interpretive guidance, and other developments on a variety of federal education matters.
Prior to joining PPSV, Ms. François was an associate in the Washington, DC office of an international law firm, a legal intern at the Centro de Justiça Global in Rio de Janeiro, and a law clerk at the US Agency for International Development in Washington.
Ms. François received a JD from Stanford Law School in 2005. She holds a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Public Policy from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is licensed to practice law in the State of California and the District of Columbia.
