Mr. Hamme is the President-Elect Designate of the American Health Lawyers Association and will serve as the organization’s president in 2008. He has long been active in the leadership of AHLA, serving as a Board Member and previously as Secretary, a member of the Executive Committee and chair of the Practice Groups Committee.  His practice primarily involves reimbursement and operational issues for long term care providers and litigation related to Medicaid and Medicare rates.

Mr. Powers was the first Chief Counsel for the Health Care Financing Administration (now CMS) and Founding Director and a former President of the American Health Lawyers Association. His practice involves the restructuring of the health care industry, including the affiliation of hospitals, physician groups and insurers, and the creation and financing of emerging delivery systems.  

Ms. Millman’s practice encompasses the full range of transactional, regulatory and legislative services.  In recent years, she has focused primarily on the representation of physicians, ambulatory care providers and professional and trade associations.
