Mr. Powers was the first Chief Counsel for the Health Care Financing Administration (now CMS) and a Founding Director and former President of the American Health Lawyers Association.

Mr. Sutter, a co-founder of the firm, spent more than twenty-five years counseling and litigating on healthcare law. He is the only attorney in the country to argue three Medicare cases before the US Supreme Court.
